Ok that Optifast class was very UNfriendly. No one wanted to talk to anyone else. Amazing that people cant seem to bond in their common act of transformation. Well Im the only one who wanted to reach out and connect. I send love and light to this class and all Optifast classes to come. May you find peace and joy in your new and wonderful lives.

Hi All,

I happened on this website looking for Optifast recipes. I just finished my first week on product, and did well, but I can tell that after 15 weeks, I will be looking for ways to spice it up a bit and avoid food boredom.

One thing I'd like to recommend is Joyce Vedral's workout books and videos. She has simple weight training programs with handweights that you can do at home, and they really work. About 12 years ago I did her program while on a low carb diet and went from a size 18 to a size 4 in 8 months. But the most awesome part of it was that I was toned and hard instead of skinny and flabby. I am starting back on the weight training because muscle burns more calories than fat, so preserving or building muscle will help to keep my metabolism up. The normal effect of fasting is to slow your metabolism, so that's something to keep in mind.

Anyway, good luck to everyone out there, just remember the fasting part is not forever, and you're gonna feel so great when you get to the end and see how much better you look and feel.

Hi Everyone on Optifast diet,

I happen to stumble across this site while looking for some recipes for my Husband who is currently on day 2 of his Optifast diet... He is using the shakes and trying to eat the veggies in the evening and finds it quite difficult as he's always been a meat and veg person, anyway I'm trying to help him out as much as possible and was wondering if anyone knows if it's okay to have eggs while on this diet??
